A Park for Everyone: Accessibility

Over the years the park has been equipped with useful amenities to accessibility, usability and enjoyment of the structure through collaboration with Magy's, an interdisciplinary group of studies, research and consultancy.

The park is located in a natural setting on the hills of Lake Garda, which give the area its characteristic "wavy" look.

Parco Natura Viva is divided in 2 sections:
- The Safari Park: visit it on board of your own vehicle.
- The Fauna Park: pedestrian area. Most of the roads are made from stabilized and gravel. In some places the slope is greater than 8% and therefore it is absolutely recommended that visitors in a wheelchair are escorted . The percentages of slopes Park are shown in signs.

 

			Handicap Parking The P1 car park, free of charge, is for you. For those who have difficulty walking and have the Handicap card, there are reserved the parking places closer to the road leading to the Fauna Park. To get from the parking lot at the Fauna Park there is a slope with a gradient of 11.5%
​​			Entrance Prices The entrance prices for disabled people is discounted or free of any charge, depending on Disability (request directly in Cash Point at the time of purchase). For the accompanying person, the entrance ticket is discounted only if he accompanies a 100% disability. Discounts and special rates like this can NOT be purchased online, and will be recognized only at the cash point. If purchased online at full price for error, you cannot ask refund.
			Precedence at the Cash Point In the days of greater affluence, you can make use of the Cash Point number 4, to avoid being long in the queue.
			Slopes paths in Fauna Park In Fauna Park there are signs that shows the percentage of slope of the paths. Most of the roads are made from stabilized and gravel.
			Bathrooms At the Cash Point you will also receive a master key that will allow you to access all the disabled toilets.
			Picnic areas and Bar In the picnic areas indicated Reserved tables for your convenience.
			Wheelchair  From April the 1st, At the infopoint you can take a manual wheelchair to visit the Fauna Park. (Availability is limited, it is not possible to book them in advance. To use the service, you will be asked identity card). The service is Free.
			The accessibility of the park project is conducted in collaboration with Magy's
			Magy's is an interdisciplinary group of study, research and consulting, from designing interventions that integrate cognitive and emotional aspects to make the scientific, cultural and environmental accessible and usable to everyone in terms of involvement of the existing, reasoned analysis and participation. Recognize and break down cultural and architectural barriers is an advantage for everyone.

 

DISCOUNTS AND PROMO

DOG AREA - DOG PARK "Orme oltre le mura"

We inform our visitors that:

• Fauna Park - pedestrian area: the access is not permitted to dogs (and other pets).
• Safari Park: you can keep pet animals on board of your car only if closed inside the specific pet carrier prescribed by the regulations in force.
• Parking areas: leaving pets on board of your parked vehicle is strictly forbidden.
• On Saturday, Sunday and during Holidays: DOGSITTING SERVICE (payment)
• In other days: SELF-MANAGED MODE FOR DOG AREA (for free)
   

Dogsitting service: DOG PARK "Orme oltre le Mura"

NEWS: from May the 21st will be active the Dog Park " Orme Oltre le Mura" service: a dogsitting service for visitors that come to Parco Natura Viva with their pet.

• The service will be active every SATURDAY, SUNDAY and HOLIDAYS  from May the 21^st to September the 11^th 2022. 
• Opening times: from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• The Dog Park Area is subjected to availability and is near the entrance of Parking nr 1 
• The dog area is guarded and the dog will stay in single box.
• Dogs can be accompanied in the outdoor area only if authorized by the owners and only for a short walk on a leash.
• Owners will be asked for general information useful for the management of the dog itself
• Rates: 
  • 5 hrs: 10,00€
  • Full day: 15,00€

Dog Area with DOGSITTING SERVICE: saturday, sunday and holidays

In other days (without operator), the DOG AREA is available for the visitors in Self-managed mode (for free)

• It is a fenced area hosting some dog boxes of different sizes, suitable for large-, medium and small-size dogs.
• The area is located under the trees, next to the entrance to Parking Lot 1. 
• The area cannot be reserved beforehand in these days
• The dog box is available for the visitor, who can request his own key from the Parking Lot 1 staff. The visitor should supervise the key during the day and return it at the end of the visit, after pick up his own dog (within the opening time of the Park).

Terms and conditions

 

The normal ticket of Parco Natura Viva includes the safari tour on board of YOUR car.
If you don’t have your own car to enter the Safari Park, or if you’d like to visit the Park on board of one of our jeep - like a real Safari - you can drive one of ours.

What do you need?
- driving license to show to the cashier when you’ll pick up the car
- a valid ID document that will be in Staff's custody during your Safari tour
- to book your Jeep Safari Service by sending en email with the data listed below
- to respect the Safari Park rules that You will receive at the entrance of the Safari.

 

HOW CAN I BOOK THE CAR?

During office time (from Monday to Friday h 4:00 pm) you can book by EMAIL to info@parconaturaviva.it (out of office times, please ask at the Cash Box of the Park) sending the following data:

• Name
• Surname
• Number of people
• Mobile phone number: it has to be active during the visit
• Date of the visit
• Time of the visit  
  • Available every day, hours: 9:30 am - 11:00 am - 12:30 am - 02:00 pm 
• ​Means of transport: how will you reach the Park? (by car, camper, bus, taxi, bicycle or motorbike)

 

PARCO NATURA VIVA’S OPENING TIME

 

 RATES

30,00€ per car on top of entrance fee. The cost of the car shall be paid here when picking up the car.

• 3,00€ per car 
• 2,00€ per motorbike
• 5,00€ per camper

If you arrive to the Park by public transports (bus or taxi), motorcycle or bicycle you have a special price € 20,00/per car just showing to the cash box the bus ticket, the taxi receipt or the biker’s pass from the car park attendant.

WHAT TO DO, ONCE YOU ARRIVE AT THE PARK 

You will pay for the "Jeep Safari" service in the Parking Area (from monday to friday) - at the ARCA Bar (weekend and holidays), depositing a valid ID card before getting your car. You'll receive more info by email.
The car are sanitized before every usage with the following product and protocol:
