Parco Natura Viva, experience nature during the magic of the evening!

The Summer brings with it important novelties to the PARCO NATURA VIVA;

The evenings stretch out once more, during which the visitor can admire animals from five continents, in unusual hours until the last light of the day. But there is more. Whilst the activities of the month of June will be dedicated to celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Park, and July will offer the public a great vivacity of themes with the “Voices from the Forests” initiatives. Evening opening will start from Friday 07th of June and end on Saturday 17th of August . On Fridays and Saturdays the gates will be kept open for visitors until 8:30 pm. But there is yet more. Those who would like to stroll through the park in the late afternoon will be able to buy a ticket for the pedestrian area only, reduced to 12 euro, starting from 5 pm. “We wanted to gift an experience beyond the usual to our visitors, offering them the possibility to prolong their stay so that they can admire our species during unusual hours”, affirms Cesare Avesani Zaborra, scientific director of the Parco Natura Viva. It will be fascinating to observe, especially during these very hot days, how those first hours of the evening is the time in which the animals prefer to interact with each other, to play and to eat. Indeed, it is actually at dusk that the small beasts of the Park peer out of their lairs, while the parents enjoy the last hours of light. At the entrance to the path which winds its way through the area dedicated to America, the three prairie dog puppies love to play with each other in their lairs from time to time, while in the pathways of Africa, the little Meercats bath in the sun of the last hours of daylight.
